My mother fled Cuba with a bag of clothes and a dream of freedom. My father grew up on a small dairy farm in the family’s ancestral homestead. They instilled in me the values they grew up on—honoring God, working hard, stewarding God’s gifts, and proving that in America, your future isn’t determined by where you started.
I carry those values into everything I’ve done: seeking God first in life’s decisions, putting myself through law school, building a successful business, and rearing my children with my husband in the community I love. I’m not a career politician. I’m a working mom who understands the real challenges Florida families face—because I live them every day.
I’m running because the leaders who have climbed to the heights of governmental power have forgotten who they work for. It’s time to remind them.
Candidate for Florida Governor
My agenda is straight-forward. Five priorities. One principle: government answers to the People, not the other way around.
I'll penalize mandates, protect informed consent, hold hospital administrators accountable, and make sure no Floridian can be forced to choose between their job or their education and a medical procedure they don't want. Health decisions belong to patients in consultation with their doctors—not bureaucrats, not insurance underwriters, not employers, not the government, and not globalist organizations. Florida led the nation in standing up during the COVID era. We need to secure that path of liberty for generations to come.
Florida should be affordable for the people who work here—and remain affordable to retire here. I'll cut the taxes that are crushing young families and recover tax-payers' funds stolen and wasted through fraud. I'll slash the red tape strangling small businesses and demand governmental agency efficiency at all levels. I'll reform insurance practices and demand financial accountability from HOAs, so you're not priced out of your own home. And I'll fight the inflationary factors and bad actors that makes it impossible to get ahead no matter how hard you work. If you follow the law and honor your commitments, Florida should reward you—not punish you.
Justice delayed is justice denied. Unduly difficult procedure is injustice. I'll demand adherence to ethical standards by judges, provide public accountability against judges who hide behind procedure to deny the right to your day in court, and investigate claims of misconduct against judges. I'll push for transparency in how cases are assigned and stronger safeguards against conflicts of interest. I'll support judicial reforms that put the law above politics and protect due process for every Floridian. The courts have a solemn duty before God to preserve and protect the rights of the people. They need to be reminded of their moral obligation.
You raise your children. The government does not. God gave you that divine duty. The government did not. I'll protect your right to direct your child's education wherever they are taught - at home, in classrooms, at the gym, on the sports field, and in the halls of higher education. I'll expand school choice so every family—regardless of income—can find the right fit for their kids. I'll defend your authority to make medical decisions for your children and strip the power of family courts to usurp parental authority and remove parental protection, while ensuring robust accountability for anyone who would harm a child. Mothers and fathers are the first and divinely-appointed teachers and protectors of the next generation. Florida must honor parents' role and work with - not against - our families.
I'll protect our coastlines, wetlands, and farmland from overdevelopment and foreign investors, while promoting technologies that work with the land to ensure safe water above and below the surface and enhance productive soil. I'll invest in infrastructure that handles growth without destroying what makes Florida special. I will partner with families and communities to ensure Florida's food sovereignty and security for generations to come. We don't just inherit Florida's resources from our parents. We borrow them from our children, and we will be held accountable for our stewardship.
Florida doesn’t need another politician who’s great at talking points on camera but can’t build a productive business on a budget. We need a governor who leads with calm authority, rejects manipulation through fear, makes decisions based on evidence, and tells the truth even when it’s uncomfortable or personally costly.
Rachel is a working mom who knows what it’s like to juggle a career and a family. She is an attorney who believes in accountability and due process, clear rules that are easy to follow, and that all humans have inherent moral value and responsibility before God – regardless of their birth, tribe, education, or earthly success.
